It’s basically a trumped up case, an invented story against a great human rights activist, our friend Ales, because of his endless fight to get human rights respected in Belarus. Under present conditions, the trial is very far from being fair, according to international standards (…) for instance, Ales was kept standing for more than two hours during his interrogation by the Public Prosecutor, and deprived of food for a whole day.
